Kunst Promenade links 7 contemporary art organizations in Forest, one of the 19 municipalities of Brussels in the southeast of the capital, near Bruxelles Midi. All locations are at maximum 15 minutes of walking distance and close to the two protected parks: Parc de Forest and Parc Duden.

Poppositions is an annual assembly in Brussels of galleries, artist initiatives and project spaces. In 2013, Poppositions takes place in Brass, formerly part of the Wielemans-Ceuppens breweries. Built during the peak of the Belgian industrial revolution, the art-deco building was restored and reopened as a space dedicated to culture in 2008. The austere brewhouse, as well as a communal garden shared with the contemporary art centre Wiels, was the setting for the second edition of Poppositions.
